It makes sense that King Harbor Brewing Co. opened a tasting room in an area from which the brewery draws its name. Much like The Strand Brewery named itself after the iconic Marvin Braude Bike trail that stretches from Torrance Beach up through Will Rogers Beach, KHBC quite literally incorporated King Harbor Marina into their namesake.
Putting an accent on their name, KHBC officially opens a waterfront tasting room sea-side along the International Boardwalk on the Redondo Beach Pier this Saturday in a locale that is already frequented by craft beer enthusiasts. A couple doors down is Naja’s Place, a long-standing ambassador for the craft beer movement happening around the South Bay.
Although the tasting room has been open for at least a couple weeks now, Saturday KHBC pours half-off on all Crowler fills throughout the day. Please note, the deal is only for crowlers, not growlers!
On tap this Saturday will be the following drafts: Pineapple IPA, Nitro IPA, Coconut Swirly, Coconut Abel Brown, Simcoe IPA, Int’l Boardwalk Express DIPA, Radler – Lemon Soda and Hefeweizen… And a very special cask while it lasts.
King Harbor Brewing Company Waterfront Tasting Room is located at 132 International Boardwalk, King Harbor side of the Redondo Beach Pier. Visit KHBC’s facebook page to find out more about upcoming summer events.
